A guided tour led by histornian and Chair of the George Eliot Fellowship John Burton, this easy and pleasant walk will cover places mentioned in Eliot's 'Janet's Repentance' with selected readings along the way. A note for your diary: On September 14th The George Eliopt Fellowship is proud to announce the annual George Eliot Lecture. The venue is to be confirmed but hopefully it will be the Town Hall Chambers. Ticket prices to be confirmed but tickets will be available from the George Eliot website https://georgeeliot.org/
Saturday 5th October the Heritage Centre will be hosting a Craft Fayre from 10:00am to 4:00 pm. More details to follow.
On the 28th November commencing at 7.30pm Anthony Greentree will give a talk on Nuneaton Windmills (now sadly lost to time). Anthony designed and created the windmill currently on display in the Centre. It will be a facinating and informative evening. Admission is Free. We look forward to seeing you there.
5th December at the Heritage Centre sees the annual Christmas Craft and Arts Fayre. All kinds of special gifts for your friends and loved ones. 5.00pm to 9.00pm. Light refreshments available. You will also havae a chance to look around the Heritage Centre. Admission is Free.
The Centre will close at 1.00pm on Saturday 21st December and re-open on Thursday 2nd January 2025. May we wish you all a Very Happy and Peaceful Christmas and New Year. From all the Trustees and Volunteers.
