On Wednesday 20th May at 2.00pm John Burton will be giving a talk on ‘Alison’s War’, the Alison in question being Alison Evans and her journals about the First World War.
Admission is £5 with all monies going to the Mayor’s Appeal for the Heritage Centre. There will be light refreshments and a chance to look around the centre especially the exhibition of local artist Michael Shepperson. Many of his paintings are on display for the first time.Alison Evans
