DESCRIPTION:Wednesday 21st January at 2.00 pm  Rob Everitt\, a Trustee of the Heritage Centre will be giving a talk on Charles Streather and the 216 Fortress Company also known as the 216 (Nuneaton)  Army Troops Company Royal Engineers.  Charles was a local man who went on to become Headmaster of the Higham Lane School and it was his daughter Beryl who\, many years later\, was instrumental in saving the Heritage Centre and founding the Chilvers Coton Centre Trust.  £5.00 per person including light refreshments.  It will be a very pleasant afternoon.

DESCRIPTION:Commencing the Friday 6th September to Sunday 8th September and again on Friday 15th September to Sunday 17th September the Centre will be participating in the Heritage Weekends.  We will have various exhibitions and in conjunction with the George Eliot Fellowship will be holding a Reading Group on Friday 6th September.  Light refreshments will be available in the main hall.  There will also be exhibitions  from some of our user groups.  Entry is free so come and look round\, the Heritage Centre really is Nuneaton’s best kept secret! \n
